Anyone Tried Pro-X.com Pistons?

Has anyone used Pro-X pistons in their Polaris Liberty motors instead of using the stock Polaris piston?

$87.95 each or an 800 including the rod bearing and rings. They look nice and they have a lot of motorcycle experience.

My machine shop recommended them.

Polaris pistons at Babbitt's are around $149 each and you still need to buy the rod bearing.

Thanks.

Pro X are not a bad company at all! The biggest thing you need to be careful with after market engine parts pistons for sure, is to make sure you let the engine warm up before you start riding. Wisco is famous for cold seizing when it's actually not their fault it is an operator error.

Warm Up

The shop I'm getting work done sells both and one of his reasons for recommmending this piston is it's interchangeability with the stock Polaris piston.

They are a cast piston made of a hypereutectic alloy with an anodized piston dome.

They look very similar to a Polaris stock piston.

Thanks for the feedback.
