Looked at the snowtell and was showing like 16 inches and figured it was wrong. Pulled up the web cam and yea-f#@kin-haw. There are berms on the freeway.

That must be the most beautiful thing I've ever heard! It looks like we have more on the way. I'm starting to get emotional!
Got into 2 feet out the stateline road yesterday. Snow had lots of moisture in it so there was somewhat of a base, at least we werent hitting rocks anyway. Pretty good first ride!

Pick up my new sled in Missoula today and couldn't help but stop by the Taft Exit and take the M8 for a spin. I just headed west towards Lookout, and turned around just past the rest area. Probably a foot of snow on the road. Season is ready to begin. It was snowing when I left!
