Any opinions? I am trying to decide between the Super Q and the HPS can. Super Q is cheaper, any comments on the quality of Super Q?

I have always ran HPS but after hearing the Super Q on the new 2012 Pro a couple days ago and talking with guys in person that have run them for years I would lean that direction if it were me, a little more crack than the HPS, I want to run the Super Q with the SLP stage 3 kit but can't get a definate answer on programming the fuel controller, either way you can't go wrong, HPS is a high quality can itself, they used to be 230$ when they first started, got popular and price went up,,,,as does everything

Yeah, I have not heard a single bad thing about the HPS so I know that would be a great option. I was just curious about the Super Q cuz I know they make very good products as well, i'm just not very educated on their cans. Anyone else out there run Super Q have any thoughts?

super q

i run a super q on my pro and its great it has a really good tone and has some nice bark as well and fit and finish are perfect A+ i ride with three others with the same can and you wouldnt be dissapointed with a super q can, but hps makes a good product as well so they are both good choices

how loud would u say the super q is compared to any of the other brands. just trying to see whats kinda in the average range. i kno jaws and mbrp are both super loud and SLP and dynaport are usually on the lower range . hps being about average. where would u say the super Q stands ?

We have sold a lot of the Super Q's on the Pros and they sound great, cant beat the price either. They are not quite as loud as the HPS but louder than the SLP. They are louder than the Dynoport can I run on my sled.

Really ? The guy a few posts up said it was louder then HPS .

BMP Powderlite

I run a powderlite can only when i go out west on my SB assault. It sounds awesome, but i will admit it is obnoxiously loud when you get it up out of the snow...

Had the exact question as well, looked around, talked to few guys and ended up ordering an HPS. I wish I could tell you more, but it's not here yet.:face-icon-small-dis

HPS VS BMP

In my opinion, it is louder than a HPS, I had a buddy running a HPS out there last year and on a good sidehill, or if i pulled the front up out of the snow on a climb i think it was definitely noticeably louder. I bought late last year, and only got one trip on it. I love it for the mountains, but back home on the trails, it has to come off or It'll cost me for sure!

Nice how about at idle , how does it compare ? I think i might try out the BMP powderlite exhaust sounds like its cheaper then HPS and is close to the same sound as HPS aswell.

i had a bmp on my assult for a week and took it back. way to loud and way louder than hps . hps is worth the extra coin!

BMP

The powderlite has a loud low bark at idle also... There really isnt a quiet side to this can. Its light and loud, and it sounds good, but theres really no getting away from it unless your down in the deep stuff.
