Anyone running high compression head?

I have a 2015 pro 800 that I bought at the end of last year. Put about 120 miles on it. Planning on Kurts gear down and clutch kit. Was wondering if anyone is running a high compression head on their pros? Also what ratio and brand would be nice. Gonna run race gas so that's not an issue. Will ride a little at 1500 ft but most of the riding will be above 6000ft. Thanks

Run a 13.6 PAR head on my '11, ride at 1800 and 6-8500. Use about 30% 110 when down low.

If i recall correctly, i am maxed out on my daltons at 69.5 at 1800-2200 (still some over rev) and 64.5 or better at 6-8500.

I run the SLP high elevation domes in my 2010 800 RMK IQ which triggered the detonation light at lower elevation trail riding at Seeley Lake Montana. I throw in a few gallons of avgas now for each tank and haven't had a problem with the light since using the avgas. Thing runs like a top! No problem with turning the stock weights at 8300 rpm even at +7000 feet on a warm day. Also did the SLP exhaust system, PC box, air horn kit and Bikeman fix kit and all seem to nicely complement the hi compression head. Geared it down a bit and stiffened up the secondary a bit too.

PAR or RKT with a head or a head/box combo, will be the most popular, before clutching. If you're willing to run race virtually all the time, sky's the limit, e.g., 14.1:1. Call them both and they'll give you the insight you need for what you want and need. Best method is to talk to the vendor directly.

What octane gas were you running? And what gram of weights at that altitude?
That is the head I was thinking of putting in. Do you think it was worth it? Thanks for the replys.
Ps isn't par owned and sold by mds now????

I had a PAR head on my Assault. I ran belly busters, changed the helix and cut the nubs off the track lugs. It would pull 2-3 lengths on a stock sled.
