anyone running a 450 4 speed?

considering a o4 yz 450 with 4 speed. really low price and just wondering if anyone has tried a 4 speed with any luck. will be cheap 1 bike.

The work great boondocking but are 7 mph short on the fast trails compared to the 5 speeds. The six speeds are another 5 mph faster than the 5 speeds.
 
That sounds like a minor detail then. As long as they are good in the deep it will b fine. Thanks for the response.
 
I have run a 2006 kx450f for the last 3 years it has the 4 speed transmission and all I have to say is that in the trees and boondocking it is the best gear ratio out there. My father has run the 5 speed for the same time he can walk away from me on the trail but the only time he could do that was at McCall Idaho on our way to the hot springs on a straight flat trail but where we normally ride at priest lake the gearing actually works better on the corners. I am playing in the trees in second gear all day long while he is bouncing between third and second. I am now riding a 2013 ktm 450sxf witch is a 5 speed and am trying all different sprockets trying to get it to be as good as my 06 was in the trees. :face-icon-small-hap
