Anyone run a Bender 800 Big Bore?

Any complaints? How was the power increase? Is it reliable? Any other info welcome.

I would like to find a used 800, I think it would be a good motor.

I have a bender 800 in my 2000 mountianmax 156 ,with major porting and high compresion 175psi,118 trick racefuel,bender triple pipes and v-force reeds. It is 175 hp without the 35 shot of boondocker nos. It is one fun sled to ride and reliable. I own 3 mountianmaxs none stock.

can you run that 800 big bore on pump gas?
race fuel is just so damn expensive

Set a Bender 800 at about 15:1 compression, run straight Av, and they make great power. Set them at about 13.5:1, run premium, jet it safe, and it will run all day long too. They were a decent little engine package.
