Anyone rode backside of diamondcreek and crowceek side?

Hey, has anyone rode on the back side of Diamond Creek or Wells Canyon on
the crow creek side? This place is where the owners of Butterfields Express go all the time. If you have'nt gone up here yet you need too! Not alot of people ride it, but it has great medows of powder! If you are heading past sodasprings going to montpeiler, its a little town called georgetown, about 15 min past sodaspriongs. You take a right at the lds church just as you hit georgetown. IF you blink you might miss it! Only a town of 100-400 people!
Its awsome riding! Ususally if 8-mile is good then Georgetwon is great too!

Check it out!

What are you talking about?!?!?!?!

Not to be rude or anything but i took up your offer of the george town thing and it sucked bad!!!! there is alot of rocks and trees. The snow was very scarce and it was not a fun day three buddies of mine smacked rocks just on the trail. So i strongly advise that unless you are willing to beat the piss out of your sled i would not go there....

Just trying to look out for my fellow snowmobilers.:)
Really it was a waste of a perfectly good sunny riding day.
8 Mile in soda springs has been getting pounded though i have been there everytime except the georgetown thing. Snow is way deep awesome riding any where you go. Ill be there both sat. and sun. There is just so much country to explore.
I suggest you guys try 8 mile.

I havent been to diamond creek yet, But I rode the poker run the 19 and it took us up to meadowview campground there is was probely 4 ' up there but I havent been down the georgetown side

I have to agree, and triggering one from the trail is really scary, we weren't even messing around on a hill! We turned around and headed back out after that. That was Thursday, Saturday we went back and it was not quite as soft, had a crust to it.

There were two natural slides in the trees on the right side of the main road in before you even get to the parking. The slide we triggered was in the narrows, about 8 miles up the trail. We were actually hauling gear through the canyon, to wells canyon, to a cabin on crow creek road. After the slide we left two pull-behind sleds with 40 gallons of gas and some oil, so we only made it 8 miles in, don't know what it was like past that, surely deaper. We ended up driving around the Wyoming side to ride into the cabin. We then drove back around and rode in Georgetown again to retrieve our gas and oil on Saturday on our way home.

BTW, we didn't notice the slides on the main rode until Saturday, not sure whether they were there Thursday or not.
