How come everytime we don't go to the Snowies it is good snow, but everytime we go, it sucks azz? Seriously.

Wow.......if I had a dollar everytime I said that. ;) Snowies are so unpredictable. When they are good though..........snow and sunny........pretty tough to beat. Problem is that is 1 out of 5 day it seems........maybe 1 of 3.

Just glad to see some snow finally!

Mule, XC and I drove over there to give it a shot due to all of the GREAT reports that were coming from there in the previous couple days. We get there, the snow is hard, windblown and just plain ****ttty. That place is just too far out of the way to take the chance anymore. I may give the Saratoga side a shot sometime but I know that we will never leave from Green Rock again. I know way too many places that are close to my home/homes that have epic conditions now that the storm tracks are coming back to normal.

We rode there Saturday and while the snow was not epic, it was respectable. It did help that it snowed all day. As we were starting to head back to the truck we ran into some areas that were beginning to shape up nicely. The backside is a lot of fun.

I have no use for the insane whiteouts that go along with the area that seem to be there every time I am up there. If it weren't for the wind, that place would be jam packed every weekend.
