anyone ride the 8" slydog powderhounds?

i really like the gripper skis but had a set of slydog all white race skis...
swapped back the grippers due to the second pair of slydogs messing up..
they are going to replace the broken ski for free but i was thinking about going to the new wider 8"ers

anyone ran them what are your thoughts... or should i just stick it out with the grippers which perform well

i used them for half a season worked good, i have slp powder pros now and love them, great ski decent money

i have a set of powder pros but did not like the steering effort and darting... did good everywhere else though.. any tricks to getting them to be easy steering?

i have 8in or 10 in carbides on them, but prob diff condtions out here lol

I run them on my IQ and love them. They are a bit more aggressive than the 7" Powderhounds but are still very little effort to turn.

My buddy has them on his 2011 freeride. Will buy a pair for my 2012 freeride for sure. Great in the deep and feather light on hardpack compared to my 2010 xp with Simmons.
