Anyone put a d7 motor in a IQ chasis

Buddy has a d7 motor and was thinking about putting it in my IQ racer, was wondering if anyone has done this! Or maybe someone has done a D8 motor in one. Any help would help thanks Eben

iqr conversion

Cross-Country Sales in Sedgewick Alberta put a 700cfi in one with a boondocker turbo and a 159 E-Z ryde. Worked great.

by d7 i'm assuming that its the motor out of a 700 Dragon? If so, it is definatly possible. I've seen about any motor you can think of shoved into the IQR chassis. Everything from Ski-Doo 670 motors, Cat 1000s, Watercraft 1200s. Definatly talk to Brad and he will help you out. Also, check out the 440/race/modified forum over on HCS. There are a bunch of pinned topics on putting big motors in IQRs

the 08 iqr motor straps are a direct fit, and inexpensive

Yes it can be done rather easily once all the parts needed are located.

on my sled i fit a custom pipe the last one i did i just used the stock pipe and cut it . THese are turbos to..

I put one in my IQ last year and it worked great, unfortunately we had no snow so only got about 200 miles on it. I pulled it out this year and put an 800 in there.

Lucky you I have the motor and pipe and all electrical needed for this if your interested. I was looking to get $2800 for everything.
