Well this is what happened. Six of use have been planning this since the beginning of November and everyone was ripping to go. Im from around Council Bluffs Omaha area and now all of the sudden they all backed out on my cousin and I and we are going one way or another so now its just me and him and we have both been out there before and kind of know the area out there but getting lost is very easy (we dont know it that well) and just wondering if someone is ridding this weekend that we could ride with and that they wont get us out in the middle of no ware and ditch us thats not cool!!!

Welcome to the world of big trips and scared little girls who used to be your friends.

Get yourself a GPS and don't worry about getting lost! Enjoy the trip!

Hit the stuff that you know of and stay close to the 'main trails' and you'll be fine. My guess is that you'll have more fun with just the two of you than with six. It seems like the best riding days are with a group of 2-3 anyway.....

Whats a good GPS I was looking at a garmin rino 530 HCX two way radio? Can I down load the trails onto it or how does it work?

The 530 is a great unit, picking up a pair of them in the new year for my riding buddy and I.

For the 530, do you have to buy additional maps or do the basemaps that it comes with work good enough? I'm heading to tog in January and I have never been there.
