Anyone Not Running a thermostat?

To make my excr more betterish in the summer i removed my tstat and used a silicone hose kit.

I am new to this and have only ridden my 2moto one time for about 30 minutes, so please excuse my ignorance.

Based on your experiences, can I continue to run without a tstat?

Thanks for your time!

I'm not running one on my ktm 300. It does just fine. Although we are pretty short on snow so it's almost like running in the summer.......

Add a temp gauge. That is the only way you will know. Engine temp will vary greatly with snow conditions most have found. If you are running too cool, you will know and then can take necessary measures (Cover radiators, add a thermostat, etc)

I dont run a stat. CR500. No carb ice with heater. Runs a little warm on the trail when going up and slow. Once in pow see 90-110F in the deep.

I think I am going to try the same... I am tired of all the plumbing. ...on my cr500 ..

Only way i will run a stat is if i go with tunnel cooler. It will be a Thermobob unit. Not sure if I'm going to keep the TS kit or go with a C3 Yeti which has a factory cooler option. Its pretty slick and will be neat and tidy.
