Anyone near Crowsnest Pass

Have a 4 day Climbing/Caving trip planned for this weekend on Mt. Ptolemy. But I'm a little worried as the Mtn Peak is almost 10,000 ft and the Cave entrance is at 8,500 ft.
Anyone in the area have a snow report for me? I know there is still lots up that high still, but are we talking a couple feet, or like 10 ft...
I've pretty much accepted the fact we will be diggin an entrance to the cave, but I just want an idea as to how much..

any help would be appreciated.... Even from Fernie, or anywhere close..

your probably going to be digging awhile. top bowl still at least 10'. was there in late april sledding from in on the border and took a run up trail to the end where you go past the caving sign and there was still about 4 feet there. there was enough snow in the creek that we were able to pull the whole face right to the peak and gargantua is deffinetly covered. good quad ride to the hike probably now though.

Thanks Dirt
we were hoping to just 4x4 as far as we could... and hike/snowshoe from there...
I'd love to take my sled, but I don't think theres enough snow. So its hike/snowshoe in, and hope for the best...

youwill have no issues withh4x4 right to the end of the trail, except the creeks are probably flowing pretty hard. also these low temps and heavy rains probably mean some fresh up top.

cool,
thanks alot!
If theres anyway a truck will go through the creeks, we'll get through... We won't be there until Friday, and the weather is supposed to turn nice, so we should be okay
