Anyone mod their Gen 2's

I have a set of these that I ran on my TNytro. Flotation was great but they were a handful in the trees. I hear of guys modding them and cutting the outer edge off from the spindle back. Anyone got any feedback on how they handle/benefit from this mod? Any pictures? I can't seem to find a ski that I really like for my TNytro and am tempted to try this.

i cut a inch off each side of mine alot better

I cut mine flush on the out side of both skis. Look like Gen 1's on the outside and Gen2's on the inside. Now I should be able to fit between the trees. BTW, I cut them on a regular table saw. Took 5 min and the cut is smooth.

I did the same plus a Carl's cut. It made a big difference.

So Loneman, did you cut the full length of the outside ski?
then do a Carl cut from the mount back?
