Anyone making biodiesel??

fuelmeister 2 is the best all around kit on the market for the price. never seen a dry wash. water wash twice and dry in an open 55 gallon barrel with a heater.before you use it make sure to get a sample, mix it with water, and verify it has very little if not any soaps.and make sure you don't use it below 40 or 50. btw before dropping the coin on a machine you may want to verify methanol, lye, and oil prices in your area. not to mention make sure you can get some solid oil leads and possibly get the owner to sign a contract to have you pick it up on a frequent basis.you will find that most places get paid by the pound for oil.

Sounds like you would be better off spending your time drinking Beer or flirting with your neighbor. Go to the damn fuel station and fill up. Bio Diesel is a pain in the ***, unless you ain't got nothing better to do. Jacking off in front of a mirror is spending your time better.

That's what I told her and look where it got me:confused:

my borther inlaw tried the biodiesel thing, wrecked 4-5 injection pumps and a few injectors. it is such a criticle process and one bad batch can be really bad. it has to be water washed and it has to be boiled to get rid of the water, water in fuel = bad.

IMO diesel is cheaper in the long run and the smell of biodiesel is rancid.

Know a guy who's runnin' 50/50 (diesel/used motor oil) in his '02 F250 SD. He's mixin' the two parts, runnin' through a 5 micron filter, then straight into the tank. Black as can be. Won't mention the guy who turned him on to this is runnin' 20/80!
