anyone make thier own long bows?

just curious...who has made one by hand from scratch? i do quite a bit of bow hunting and i made a fiberglass reinforced long bow in woods last year. made everything myself...arrows... and string so i was just curious who has invested their time in one of these? for anyone who hasn't...they take a lot of work and A LOT of sanding! mine turned out really nice. ill post pics of it tomorrow and give the details..i know i know this post is probably worthless without pics...

My bro made his own recurve awhile back - came out very nice. Pulls like a freakin bear though - I'll stick with my Browning for now, Im a wimp Ill take wheels and mechanical advantage - hahahaha

One of the guys i work with builds bows on the side. He's actually really REALLY good at it. He's probably built 30 or more, and they shoot awesome... Free plug for Jeff...
