Turns out that it can get better......sun and bear paw with newtrout, blindman and ruffy......hitting actual carvable snow and untouched backcountry. Great ride, thanks guys. Only the second time I've been over there, the other was July 1st a few years back. Great riding.....long drive but worth it yesterday. Hopefully they will post some picts later. Ruffy had a huge climb that almost went sideways, but he pulled it out and then later he launched a killer jump that looked sweet.....I'm going to go ahead and call him an official mountain rider!!!
Yah it can get better, though, having a near death experience kind of makes the day interesting... We did the route Chicken is planning.. I think having lots of people on this route will equal lots of carnage, especially if there isn't much fresh snow.
My success. As usual pics do not do it justice. This is the climb out of Church lake I believe. The main line up had some bomber holes in it, so we stayed to the left a little bit. Newtrout and Blindman hauled right up. Yammadog was looking at it closesly, and I was like, WTF? we are going up that thing.. You bastards!!! So I got a good start, and held her pinned and away I went. I got close to the top, it started getting really steep, started getting off my line, then 10 feet to the top the sled started going hard right. FYI, hard right is a cliff wall that if hit properly, has the potential to rocket you off into the great wide open. I don't know how it happened, or why I did it, but I leaned far over to the left and kept it pinned. Stopped right next to blindmans sled and tried to smell if I sh!t myself. I would like to say it was skill that saved me, but I think I might have closed my eyes...lol

I think getting this picture could have cost way too much...
Playing on the hills. There was enough fresh to actually do some carving and playing around. Even was able to do some downhill carving too. Here is dog climbing around.
The snow was kind of deep, though, it wasn't deep enough to do tight donuts it seems.. Warning warning, fish out of water.. lol... That guy can ride, holy crap.
To all you people that worked... you can see the route in the background.
Found a good sized jump at the end. Kind of a wierd angle and a completely blind landing.
Big thanks to all for letting me tag along. Trout and Blindman, your confidence in your riding ability scares the crap out of me. Wow, is pretty much all I was saying all day.
Oh, and FYI for all looking, this Nytro is not boosted...

what a beautiful day... that place has to have just about the best scenery anywhere. i got some adrenilin going , that day too. but on the downhills!!!
that new powerclaw is not the best for brakin , i am finding out!!!
