So I was super stoked to go on a test ride/belt break in ride on my 08 D7 last night to try out all the new stuff I've done to it this week. New carl's clutch kit, 19/42 gearing, adjusted track and chain tension, and a bunch of other stuff.

Anyway after about 20 miles of straight trail riding at about 11:00pm I started playing around off to the sides of the trail and made a stupid mistake. I thought I could side hill over this tree and when I realized I wasn't going to make it I tried to dig in harder and goose the throttle instead of bailing. Well my right ski smashed into the tree directly at the spindle point. I ALMOST MADE IT HA HA.. So I got ejected over the handle bars and jarred my knee pretty good but I can still walk. However I bent the hell out of my lower right A Arm and need one TODAY! I'm supposed to be leaving Coeur d'Alene, ID tonight for a week long trip in Cooke City and I'm not going to be able to ride my sled how it sits.

Does anyone within driving distance or on the way to Cooke City from Coeur d'Alene have a lower right A arm they can sell me for cheap!? I just spent over 1200 on my sled last week and have very little money left. Any help would be excellent!

Kelly is on her way with the part. Just incase you need the info again:

She will be at Ten Salon across from the American West Bank building from 12:15 to 2 pm. Part and ball joint tool will be in the back of a 2011 White Ford Platinum Crew Cab. I'll pm you her cell # too just incase. Have a great trip. EW

Eric you are a life saver man! Can't thank you enough for hooking me up. What a stand up guy. I'll figure out a way to make it up to you!

thanks again.

If it is a "new" a-arm it will come with the ball joint already in.

two 9/16 wrenches. A long arse extension and a 9/16 socket and you can get to the one porrly designed hard to acess nut from under the nose inside cover. If you have the plastic cover you may have to either remove it of just get a dremal in there and trim it to allow easy acess.

If you have an after market bumper it will be blocking the nut mopst likely.

Job should be a 10 minutes job except for that one stupid nut that some rookie cad designer failed to think about. Replace the nylocks with new ones..the lower a-arm nuts use about 35 ft lbs(i think)...look at the threads showing before you disasemble.

These things always happen right before a trip..thats how Murphey works.
