Anyone herd of an Etec air turbo kit?

My budy is looking at getting one but I can't find any info on it.

That guy had a crazy notion to plum an electric fan into the intake and make more power.lol.
I knew a girl in high-school that would've worked perfect.

How crazy is it? Actually there ARE guys running this simple system to add additional air lost at elevation. It's like a shot of nytrous, instead..........air. Wer'e not talking huge h.p. numbers like a conventional turbo but a little extra to get ya up n over! I have talked with a guy running the system and he says it works great,
Why haven't the OEM's come up with a simple air compensation system similar to this?
Would be curious to hear more on this from the guys that KNOW.
