Anyone heard of "Cental Issue"

I was talking with a Deputy last night who said he had spent the day being trained on a new law he called "Central Issue". It required all Counties and States to have all drivers licenses issued thru the Federal Government. The Counties have to prepare the paper work and submit it to a Federal "Central Issue" location . Your license will now come in the mail from the Fed's. The license is actually a chip that can be processed through some sort of reader that will provide all of your personal information just like a new passport does. This license would have to be used to purchase guns, bullets, powder, etc. Said this law goes into affect in about a year.

The whole time I'm listing to him all I can think about is gun control. Has anyone heard of this??? I can't find anything to verify. I'm not stating this as fact, but the way things are happening these days nothing would surprise me.

Yes this why every state or at least every conservative state that is still free, has to reaffirm the 10th Amendment and their states rights and declare their borders off limits to anything but what the Constitution calls for by the Feds.
