When running below 8000 rpm this sled runs awsome... (got a little stumble but still have oil in gas yet)... But When the sled hits 8000Rpm its like hitting 97mph in a 1/2 ton Chevy pick up.. it just cuts out!... WTF!

I haven't seen that at all above 8000 rpm but have had a few stumbles but nothing to worry about yet, there's around 220 miles on the Pro now

Mine cuts out all the time.

I have ove 200 miles on it and it isn't getting any better. I had a technician ride it and he thought it was some kind of a limiter and would go away in time, I keep waiting for it to go away. It got me in some trouble on our last ride. We thought if you constantly varied your throttle it seemed to not do it as much but that is difficult to do in all situations.

Yep

It has happened to mine a few times too. About 5 or 6 total. I have my dealer looking at it now, I don't want it to become a bigger problem. I could definitely see it being a problem if you were in a tight spot though. I have about 218 miles on mine. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I hope we don't have more "fuel map issues" like we did on the 09's. These sleds have the potential to be so good if they can remain reliable.

Its could be that you are hitting the rev limiter..... Maybe the tach is not reading correctly.

pro-ride

I have 230 miles on mine at wide open throttle it cuts out, let off and it comes right back to life. We started testing fuel for ethanol. The best we can find is 5% ethanol. We are going to add 1 gallon of 110 to a tank to see if that helps. The sled has had codes for detonation and lean mag side cylinder.

sled

I rode with lots of new pros they all run awesome!!! If you are running good gas make sure to have the resistor for good gas in or it will not run correct!!!!! Other than that get some miles on it and ours keep running better!!! also make sure to have the correct weights in!!!

This is what I would suspect as well. When my '06 900 hits the rev limiter at 8050, it's like someone is throwing a switch to shut it down.

high rpm stumble

I have read about every thread on here and it looks like there is an injector problem and some assembly problems. Lots of loose electrical connections have been found and a few guys have had their injectors changed and that has solved their issues. Polaris is closed today so my dealer cannot get an official answer but the rumor is they have authorized dealers to replace injectors. My dealer didnt know much but sadly that has been the norm. If they had a bad run of injectors they should be able to tell which sleds have them and they should be recalling those sleds. Runs great until you put the hammer down and then it gets dangerous. Wait until you have this experiance trying to turn out of a climb and it dies and jumps back to life and digs a hole. I wonder if the injectors were made in China like some of the wiring. :face-icon-small-fro
