be nice if the tunnel dump faced forward due to snow when mounted under the tunnel

I would be careful pointing it forward unless you only ride in deep soft snow, I would think you would run into heating problems if you were on a trail or spring like conditions. As for clearance issues I haven't got any miles on it yet so I don't know. I hope it works!! Love the way it came out.

Next time you have a buddy handy put a 4x4 under the rear bogies and then bottom the skid

Yeah I have the Tsled rear, I took all the air out of the shocks and bottomed it out as far as it would go. the first mounting point didn't work so I used the piece you remove from the shroud for the MCX install to get some more clearance. With the new setup I have about an inch of clearance with the suspension fully compressed. I do not know if there is enough clearance, but I will have to update this post when I find out!!

i would just get rid of that muffler all together and just have a turn down slightly back cut on an angle facing forward, so the snow wont collect in the pipe, that muffler is just going to rust out when the snow piles in there, even if you drill small drain holes in it. just a thought. plus it sounds way better.

What about exhaust so close to the stock heat exchanger? the cr tunnel has the exchanger at the back.

We have done a few similar to the pictures and we have not had any issues with them.

Top one is my sled. 1k miles an no issues

Bottom one is a buddies sled. No problem even after a 30 ft drop and a chopper to the hospital

Do us all a favor and keep the muffler. Mine is so quiet you can hear the turbo spool :)

Pics of the complete sleds

Where did you get the plate beside the muffler to protect the turbo? may save me making one.
