Anyone have a Money Tree in full bloom?

I have decided to rebuild my rt 1000, tore it down all the way and every single crank bearing is shot. We just put it back together after fixing the front cooler. It seems that the mag side was not getting oil. I checked the oil pump as per service manual and it works fine. One rod was oily and the other was dry and the rod bearing was destroyed. I had someone helping me, would it be possible that one oil line was not put back on??? Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this happened?
I want to rebuild this sled but I am wanting to know what caused all this damage in the first place, as it would be a big waste of time and money to have the same thing happen all over again.
Thanks!
Bob

Sometimes the bearing goes first then the rod slams the brass injection oint and mushes it over then no oil. This happened to my 03 800.

i was told that one of the check valves on the bottomend oil lines malfunctioned on my 800 ho. new crank and bearings now and rips fine! Costly malfunction tho.

Sorry, the money tree got clear cut years ago.

Good luck with the rebuild. Crappy when one fix leads to another and another and you start wondering if its worth it, but you have so much invested you almost have to keep going.
