Anyone had early ring wear out

Hi!
My sled has been running 2800km (1740miles)
, about 500km (310miles) of them with boost and i got a difference in compression on 1.54lb and the mag side being lowest..
Anyone else had this problem with the 2011 800?
The enginge is pulling very variable and almost impossible to tune with the BD controller and seems like I can't get my A/F right..

Would like some meanings about what pistons to buy and if anyone had this problems before me ;)

Sorry, wrong number =) It is 0,7kg and the Polaris toleranses are 0,2kg.. The numbers was 110psi on PTO side, 98psi on MAG..
I'm running a RKTek turbo head..

Been running a bit over 300miles with turbo..
A buddy of mine have been running his sled stock for about the same mileage as me and his pistons were black all the way down (very much blow by) and you could see the rings was starting to be worn.
He measured his pistons from 10millimeters from the bottom and was 84,75mm.. I will measure mine aswell when I get my new wisecos in the mail..

I don't want them to break and cause much more to be ruined..

anything under 100 i would rip down and have a look

try taking your y pipe off and looking in through, you might get lucky and see damage .....i have a camera scope i can stick through the y pipe and not have to take it off
it only allows you to see the front of the piston, top and back side of the ports but you can usually see if anything is wrong

if you see nothing, rip the head off

just do a proper leakdown test, if its over 15% hot time for rings.:face-icon-small-coo

Never use a compression test to check ring seal, it is just a vague baseline for a problem. You can get a leakdown tester from summit for around 75.00 or so, it is a MUST have in every tool box.

I've got 3000 miles on mine and they still look band new. I'd say your rings are probably shot. Replace the pistons and mix some oil into every tank. I mix about 300 ml into every tank but with the turbo you might want more like 500-600 ml. And it will be hard to tune if you're getting a lot of blow by

X2, except I would tear down anything more than 6% leakdown (warm engine) but that's just me.

Wiseco pistons in order and will arrive on wednesday..
Thank you for many replies =)
It has been a nightmare to tune, tried it in dyno and I could bump the boondocker numbers up with 20points but the A/F were still over 12 and engine wouldn't pull evenly, went up and down with the rpm's..
I got 190hp tough, so with new pistons I think about 220+ on pump gas with the RKTek turbo head and 11psi at sealevel..

I can post pictures of the old pistons when I take them out and I will add some extra oil from now on..
