Anyone got their engine seized after belt exploded under load

possible

ive heard of it but never seen it, gernade caused by over rev.
i have personally had an rotax 809 belt explode where i was in a wheelie goin real fast and the sudden loss of propulsion slammed me into the bars wot for probably 4-5 seconds just screaming couldnt do anything about it. put a new belt on and went again.
but these new sleds have rev limiters so you cant really associate the situation.

Perhaps not immediately, but if you have any cords get sucked in behind the primary clutch, it can take out your crank seals causing a lean condition and that can result in a seize. Never happened to me, but I have read of it.

This.

What is described above is the most common cause of what you describe.

I have seen it once .

belt explodes under load and twist crank out of phase.
Then one piston burns down do to detonation .
