Anyone got the fix for the leaky 96 kitty cat gas tank?

Damn if this thing doesnt leak all over!! Its coming thru the rubber bung. I just looked it up and it looks like they want to sell it as an assembly w/ the fuel pick up. Anyone have a good fix for the problem?
