Anyone from North Idaho on here?!?

The Best kept secret

All is good at Priest Lake fresh snow good groom trails and a sunny day at the lake see you on the hill Sunday.

Still here from Wallace. Rode Saturday and didn't find good snow until about 5500'. Then it wasn't great, kind of heavy. Couldn't ride yesterday due to a funeral. Would have been great yesterday.:face-icon-small-sad

Sledding suggestions

Hey guys/gals,
Planning to be up in Coeur d'Alene at the end of the week through the weekend (driving up from Boise) and planning to bring the sleds... Not sure where to go or if anyone could give some suggestions?

Thanks for your help!
Sean

You can go off the 4th of July pass. Good parking and they usually groom pretty good. Some nice play areas off skitwitch although no warming hut anymore which is a bummer. Hopefully we will get some more snow by then!

Here is some suggestions:

*East of CDA - Burke...hmmm Burke. :) You have everything from wild to mild at Burke. East seems to be getting the most snow in N. Idaho. Here is a video from my ride on Sunday at Burke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYjdgdPeU8Q

*Like suggested - 4th of July. Super close to CDA and easy to get to. This has some places to play right off the trail, really good for mixed skill levels.

*North - Trestle Creek. East of Sandpoint. This has the best tree riding in our area. Massive area, with tons a place to explore. This is video from Trestle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuE95E7Qz-o

*North also has Roman Nose and Pack River and East has places like Bloom and Lookout (MT)...all fun places to play, but if you are only here a limited amount of time, I would suggest Burke or Trestle.
