Hey gang....I'm going to be visiting Ma-bear in Creston this weekend, but I really need to ride! I've sledded a couple of times out there with ValleyGirl's husband and son a few years back, and I'll try to get a hold of them (lost number)....but just looking to see if anyone can accept a spare rider in their group for Sat or Sun.
Anyone from Creston want a tag-a-long this weekend?

Oh.....you could also give Ken Fleck a call. He is the president of the snowmobile club out there. SUPER nice guy. Most of the sledders in town meet up in the mornings on the weekends. I cant remember exactly when or where though. Ken will be able to steer you in the right direction though. His number is 250 402-6615

Geez I don't know if anyone is brave enough for the aprez sled activities with you Dave. I still laugh about the pics of Pecos face down in the dirt by the campfire, and who could forget the pic of the young lady on the picnic table amidst a sea of beer bottles. I think you should hand out t shirts saying I survived a weekend with DaveB. 
That DaveB will NOT be visiting his mother on the weekend! Haahaha! Ho only lives in the summer anyways! Thanks for the replys gang. I talked to Calvin (ValGal's hubby) last night and he indicated they would ride if the avy danger has slowed down....so hopefully I can hook up with them.
We may be headed out that direction this weekend...Old man says there hasnt been a huge amount of fresh in awhile but snow in the forecast. What areas are you thinking of hitting up?
I don't know. I know Cal is a very safety conscious person, so I will follow his lead on the weekend. He told me last night that even though the forcast has been better for avys, he has seen evidence of some very massive avys the last few times he has been out.

It was pretty calm in terms of avy activity last weekend anyways from where we were. Overall, they don't have a lot of snow. In fact, very little.
