Maybe I've got my head in the sand here, but what do you guys think about flipping the track around backward on a Pro-RMK? Problem is that in it's stock position, it works great in the powder, but the tips flex a little to much on hard pack and let it spin out. Similiar to the old AC Attack 20 in the powder position. Looking at this track I feel like flipping it around would let the paddles dig in good for hard pack, yet the compound might be soft enought to still get some flex in the tips and pack the snow down underneath of you in powder?
I really like F-bomb's track trim idea, it makes perfect sense, but I can remember days on the Attack 20 (powder position) on my M7 that I was the only one getting around not stuck all day in dry endless powder. I just think trimming the tips off would take away from the ability of the paddles to flex and pack the snow underneath of you, thus leaving you realying solely on track speed to keep you motating.
