Anyone find the stock thumb lever for a sno scoot too large for kids?

Wondering if anyone has tried something else, or come up with a sweet mod (much like Thistledoo and his ingenuity creating the Nytro brake mod) to make it easier for little kids to work the throttle on their Scoot?

I find the lever itself to be rather large and my little guy has a tough time with it. Its kinda stiff too so I catch him using the palm of his hand to push it. I don't want him learning this as its obviously a bad habit but at the same time reali\e that ive likely started him too young and his hands are too small. I know these weren't truly meant as kids sleds as all the original brochures and pamphlets show adult riders only on them so im guessing that's why such a large thumb lever for the throttle.

anyways, just wondering A) if anyone knows a better set up for small hands

and B) if anyone has figured out a way to make it less stiff to push

thanks in advance guys, hope everyone is having a great winter

Another thing, is it just me or are the stock handlebars super wide???!

Sumac Motorsports was nice enough to give me some great info via PM's about aftermarket bars but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Im considering cutting a spare set of stocks bars I have to make them narrower. take about 2 or 3 inches of each end where the grips go..

what do you guys think?
