Was it to fix a problem or for a performance gain?
did you notice a change?
What types or parts did you coat?
I ask because where i work I have access to several coating and i'm going to try them out since my used and abused '98 Polaris 700 that finally blew up after 13 years. I'm putting in a Thermal barrier/reflector coating on the camber piston top, and another type in the exhaust ports. Piston skirts came coated. And i'll be putting a coating that help transfer heat on the outside of the case/jugs/head to help cool things off.
I'm not really expecting a performance gain out of all this but it can't hurt.
