anyone ever install a remote starter on a car/truck?

pretty simple really, few hrs.if taking your time.Just installed one in my truck three days ago.3 hrs. including my breaks:p ordered this last one from autoalarmpro.com out of detroit.hands down the easiest install i've done yet. they build the unit vehicle specific and instructions are terrific, can't get much better for customer service also. when mine arrived the alarm interface box was missing, called and the gent that built mine answered and told him the prob.he apologized up and down, said he'd get it right in the mail and notify me.20 min. later i had an email with tracking confirmation and 2 days later was here, thats the kind of business i like dealing with. go for it!

Yes, done quite a few.
Not bad at all to do. The kits have good instructions per vehicle and most have great support.

We put one in my wife's 2003 4Runner. It was nice to have. We had to zip tie a key inside the car under the dash so the chip in the key would allow the starter to work.

The most important thing to remember is to solder all the connections. Some guys cheat and use scotch locks and butt splices but don't do it. Clearly read the instructions and take advantage of any support offered by the manufacturer.
