anyone elses primary spring broken?

WE have three pro's 163x2 and 1 155"
pro 1 163" 500 miles busted primary spring
pro 2 163" 157 miles busted primary spring
only one not to let go is the 155" only has 130 miles on it
clutched for 9-12' 10-60, turns 8200-8250 in snow,saw 8450 down the road.
any suggestions on springs do we need to run titanium springs now?

They had a bad batch of springs and had several break at the first of the season. These should be covered under warranty and hopefully with a spring from a different batch.
 
I have two friends i ride with that have pros, one 163 snowcheck and one 155 floor model and both broke at almost exactly 300 miles. I have almost 500 miles on mine and no problems yet.
 
Wow....usually a broken primary spring is indicative of something else causing some wicked harmonics. Check PTO runout....or perhaps a bad bore on the primary clutch itself, either not fitting "tight" or off center/oblong???? Just seems odd to break springs so soon, there is ALWAYS a cause for this. Hopefully a batch of bad springs, but is every broken spring the same color code or are they breaking with various springs???

thought the same thing, but i was told they were a bad batch,all I know have been the stocker 9-12ft clutching

I ride with 5 guys who all have Pro's. 2 of them did break stock spring. They swapped to pink/blue and had good luck. No rides were ruined luckily. All but 1 of my friends have gone back to the stock spring and no issues so far. They were told a bad batch of springs was the case. No issues since. Riding 8k to 10k.
 
put in a polaris almond round and forget about it they are the same but the almond has never broke.
