Anyone else upgrade their 08 xp to the new belt adjuster???

Just put mine in and it looks like a better system but seems a little more complicated to adjust. Now i have to pack around a 10mm wrench, clutch opener, and a 3mm allen key. I guees it not too bad.......listen to me

I think once I get used to it, it will do the job great.

Yes but it keeps the deflection the same when taking the belt off an on when you use the little threaded tool it comes with. It works well.

You just set it once and forget it.....no need to readjust evertime you pull the belt off. Much nicer and quicker.

they work great. but make sure to use blue loc-tite on the threads and tighten to 74 #s . i know of a couple comming off . if you dont have the tool to adapt to a torque wrench.( you can make your own using an old 1/2 drive socket. weld it to a formed pc, of steel that fits over the flats on the adjuster.) or just use a big fricken wrench.

Dealer swapped out mine when they did the driveshaft update, I like it. Easy to adjust and the belt removal tool is the old zx, rev style and easy to use. I already carry the 3mm allen key for the quick clickers and the 10 mm wrench takes little space. Big improvement over the 08 plastic thing that was junk.

Go to fettbrothersperformance they have an excellent belt adjuster easy simple to use, my buddy has one he loves it.
