I had a guy email about buying my sled, said he had cash in hand and asked if I'd take it. So i reply yes and give a cell phone number so we could met up. Dude has not got back in touch with me for some time now. Total dic thing to do. Its kinda funny, its happen to me 3 times just this summer, WTF is wrong with this people..

If you don't want it, do bother me !!

Boats, sleds, planes and trucks ... lots of tire kickers out there want to ACT like they have $ for the purchase when in fact, they have no intention to buy at all!!!

Craigslist is FULL of scammers!!! Be carefull! We were selling something, and 2x got weird calls, which my husband identified as scammers.... The guy was interested in buying our car, but supposedly was honeymooning in Hawaii. so he was going to have his friend to pickup our car, and he wanted to forward the money to our account. So he wanted to know the account #, bank name, our names, phone numbers etc.... He was going to write cashiers' check and he was saying that he needed all the above info.... We did not respond to all this of course because we learned that he could have canceled the check somehow and he'd still end up with our car and a title....
The other call/email was similar. Long, heartfelt story and bunch of questions about personal info....

Sold/bought three sleds on CL.. got about a handfull of scammer emails total. Sold one rig and am selling my other rig on there now and have gotten 6-7 emails total already from scammers.. crazy..

Havent had any issues with Alaskaslist yet though.
