man they r slippery and collect snow ..was wondering if anyone has gotten a big drill bit and drilled some holes so help with grip and water runn-off ect..cheap option to new upgraded ones i was thinking..

I have to a previous sled. It works really good as an alternative to buying 400 dollar ones. Just dont drill too many close to the frame, or the running boards might fall off.
just looking for a cheap alternitive till i can afford newer ones ..anyone have a pic of some that were done ?
wow now that looks great,thanx think its a go for sure now..still stiff enough or did u have to add any extra support anywhere ?

It looks like the holes have been flared or something?
drilled mine but not as many as the pic. Like they said just don't drill too close to the tunnel and too close together and you'll be fine...I'm a little over 200 with all my gear on and they don't even flex.

Z-man, do you know whos sled this is? Would love to get a little more info on how they did this.
