anyone done oil injection delete

Hi guys I was wondering if any of you have done the oil injection delete? If you did, what did you do to lube the gears in the middle? Any input is appreciated.

yep...oil delete is the way to go...alot more room..save weight...and don;t have to have an oil pump fail on ya or over oil...been running mine 3 years

Thanks for the replys. I have the BDX plate already, just trying to decide if I should run it or not. The more I looked into it the more confused I got. I already did a search and all the stuff that came up was for M8's and M1's so I was wondering if anyone was doing it for the stand up motors. And if you were drilling the cases and if so where, or just putting a grease zerk were the hose was on the bottom of motor. And weather or not you were having any luck with it.

Oh and sorry to confuse anyone, obviously going to run premix if I do remove the oil inj.

What is the premix ratio that you would run with this setup? Does it save you that much oil, or is it mainly done to save weight/more room under the hood.

I removed oil injection on my MC800, I drilled a 1/4" hole toward the center of the case in a little notch on one side. If you remove a cylinder, you'll see the spot.

Mix it 50:1 and no worries-you cut out a bunch of weight and never have an issue with a kinked/plugged oil line or malfunction oil pump.

From experience, I can tell you that you wreck the entire bottom end-crank, bearings, conecting rods when the oil line gets kinked.
