anyone done a oil delete on snow scoot or had issues with pump failure?

Has anyone done a oil pump delete on a scoot? Or ever had issues with the pump? I would rather keep the pump if they have a history of being reliable.

Does anyone know how to prime oil pump and test for this particular sled? Sled sat over 10 years so I'm draining all old oil. I was planning on putting some premix on first tank to insure pump is working.
