just so you know on the clearwater national forest travel plan.
None of the alternatives:A.B,C,D affect groomed trail riding. there will be no closure of grooming or designated routes. What is in jeopardy is off trail riding in the great burn. The stateline area.
Alternative b is the only alternavtive that the cnf will look at that keeps off trail riding open. The other alternatives close the great burn riding area off.
Alternative a is a great alternative but the cnf has said they will not entertain that alternative.
So we will not lose any groomed riding, no matter how many lettes the friends of the clearwater right. But we can lose some of the best off trail riding in north central idaho.

I have whitewater kayaked with a gentleman that was a big wig in the friends of the clearwater. He showed up to the put in with a stihl hat on. My other buddies where joking he was under cover. I think it bit into him a little bit when the sledder had to help him on the kayak run. I know i was giving him shet for leaving his kayak down in lolo creek after he had a tough swim. I remind him of pack it in, pack it out.
