Anyone compared Tog gloves vs Cabela's Pinnacle

S
Looking through Cabela's online and found the pinnalce glove and though they looked pretty similar to the Tog glove. The same could be said about their Strata glove as well. Anyone got any experience w/either of these Cabela gloves?

I've had Pinnacles for quite a few seasons now. I'd buy again. Just wish the gauntlet opening was a tad larger, but not a big deal. I wear these when it is colder outside, like in the teens.

I also have a pair of Cabelas Motorsports (canvasback/leather palm). I wear these more often because they have better feel and though they have less insulation it equals out because you feel heat from the grip warmers quicker.

I just looked and it looks like they have a few choices. One might be all leather.

I ride with the Pinnacle gloves and love them. I have used mine for a good 8 years now and they are finally starting to break down so I need a new pair. I not only use them for sledding but I use them for ice fishing, hunting on horse back, shoveling the driveway, you name it. the gloves have been used and abused. Best gloves I have ever owned!!

I think Im gonna try a set of pinnacles, although the strata's did catch my eye. Still trying to figure out what the big difference is between them.
Can either of you guys who have the pinnacle's comment on how bulky they feel?? One thing I like about the tog gloves is that while there a good size glove my fingers are still fairly useable. Some gloves leave your fingers worthless

i have the pinnacles. about as warm as a glove can be. very water proof. always have the ice hanging off the finger tips in the afternoon but never cold or wet. too warm for the warmer days 20f +. first couple of rides they felt very very bulky hard too hold the grip but did break in very nice don't feel bulky anymore.

Been using the pinnacles for 10+ years now and love them Use them for work, play, hunting name it. I have suggested them many times on these forums. The majority of the bulk of them is on the outside of the hand! For a big warm glove, they allow a good feel and contact with the bars because of that. Very waterproof and very tough. Only word of advise is that they run small. Order them one size larger than you think you would wear.

I've heard others compare the Pinnacle to the Togwatees, but they are not the same. Pinnacles are not as versatile in my opinion, feel a little bulky, no removable lining. They are approx. $20.00 cheaper though.
I tend to use my Klim Tog without the liners for the most part, but I do keep them along just in case.

anyone try the true north adventure storm glove. i would like to carry a second set of gloves with and looking for some thing a little lighter

I just bought a pair of the Pinnacles. Only tried them out once so far but they seem nice. It wasn't real cold when we were riding though. We'll see how they are in the powder. They are definitly bigger in the fingers than the TNA Powder Storms but that is to be expected as they are a glove for colder weather. They aren't bulky enough to inhibit my riding though.

I bought the Cabellas glove and other than the fact that it doesn't have a removable liner they are really good. I have ridden with them hard about 10 times and only have a few tiny holes......my last set of tog's didn't make it 2 rides!

Thanks for the sizing headups...

I took the liners out of my tog gloves too. Dont even know where they are to be honest. Im tempted to get another pair of tog, just because they are light and free, but doesnt sound like ill be disappointed either way..

Ive got the gauntlet version and Id definitily recommend them. They are a bit cold somedays trail running here in NY, but love them when Im out west.

i have the grey ones. the black with the tan leather are ugly. the ice armour gloves are junk if they are anyting like there clothing. i seen that under armour makes a nice looking glove.
