anyone check oil ratio on 09 m1000

I am going to check my fuel to oil ratio. My sled runs rich all the time and seems to burn a lot of oil. What should the ratio be 40 to 1? Anybody check thiers. If I am rich how do you turn down the oiler? Thanks Steve.....

They seem to usually be between 28 & 35:1
I premix 32:1 & unless you run junk for oil, I don't see why you'd turn it down.
These motors like oil & make better power with a higher mix.

Thanks for the reply. I checked mine today and it came out at 38.42 to 1 so I guess that it is not to bad. My sled has always seemed to run rich, like it is loaded up. Have to keep looking I guess.

I checked mine last winter it was right at 40 to 1. A Few of the 09 m8 guys around here have had to turn theirs down A bit though.

make sure you check it atleast 3 times . my m8 is 28-29:1 several others have reported this also
