Anyone been up to Greenwater and over to WJ?

Taking the wife and some other relatives out on Sunday. Haven't been up there in a couple weeks. Conditions anyone?

Thanks
my buddy did it on sunday. it was icy out there. he said scrathcers were a must. he also said ice hill was pretty bad.

SHOULD be ok by this sunday due to the new snow coming tomorrow through sunday:D

I was there Saturday. Two other rigs with me so we stopped @ Gravel pit#1 and rode sleds up adn down the Matterhorn. Several sets of tracks in the snowbank from rigs.

The lot was full of rigs, most chained up. If I was going in a truck with a 2-place, I wouldn't worry, but a 4 place may not be fun on the ice hill.

It was storming most of the day and some fresh snow was accumulating.

A buddy and I went over to WJ's last Thursday and ice hill wasn't that bad but we also were one of the first ones to go over the hill. It was the first time I've been across the hill since ice hill has been widened. That sure made it better than the old trail through the trees. Thanks Clem!!!

lots of snow the bypass is only as bad as you make it all'people have to do is to use their heads take 5 minutes put chains on and go slow down the hills and it will be just fine thanks glad i could walk you through it!:)

thats what i do. i laugh at the guys who go driving by me while i am putting chains on going 40 mph.

went over saturday, and back saturday night to and from greenwater. Ice hill was bad going up, but all right comming back do to the snow. Had about 6 to 8 inches on my truck at about 11pm, and it was still snowing. 1900 trails freshly groomed as is the main trail out of greenwater.

We got up there Sunday about 9:00(late start) trail out of parking lot was pretty good. Went up to the cabin, let the wife feed the birds and headed for the backside to find some fresh. Found 6 to 10 inches in a few places to have fun. Patchy skies and fog rolling in and out most the day. My wife did pretty good for her first time out riding. Rode about 45 miles all day. Trails from the cabin back down to the park were "whooped up" pretty good. Started snowing on the way out. Haven't yet made the trek to Jack's yet, but would like to soon.

Cheers
