Anyone a sledhead member?

I am. You get free stickers and sometimes free stuff. I got a free dvd... its good to be a part of another snowmobile....whats the word im looking for....uhhh coalition maybe? its pretty good. Id say its woth it.

sledheads sucks. The magazine is a reprint of Snowest (which has gone way down hill too) with a couple freestyle pics thrown in

I have been a member a number of times and I have never got anything other than the stickers that you get when you sign up. The publiccation is ok if you are looking for a catalog. There are some nice pics thrown inbetween the advertising too.

It got me 10% off parts from TriCity. So I saved a few bucks when my crank went bad. Sawyer is right how most of it is a reprint of Snowest. It does have a few good points though. The mag used to feature coverage on some of the best mod sleds around. But if you were looking for anything very detailed forget it. The goggle discount isn't too bad either.

My thoughts exactly. I was a member for a year or so to try it out. I occasionally pic up the magazine if I see one but wouldn't subscribe.

Yes I am!

Hey guys,
I have been a member since the beginning, Sledheads and Snowwest are the only mags that concentrate on western riding, big sleds, long tracks, big mountains, all the time, I like that. The other mags I have tried allways have short track, flatland, trail sleds, who the hell wants to read about freakin short tracks.

I joined Sledheads in Nov of 1999. Charter member.
They advertised that members could try out and review gear, parts etc. Cool!!!!!!!

In the subsequent years, I tested a 90° hooked Powermadd brake lever (in Jan of 2000, which I'm still using and LOVE IT), and a Jackson Hole DVD from 2007.

I like Kort Duce's photo work. TOP NOTCH. Very colorful and well laid out mag.
BUT I get through it pretty fast and when I look at it months later, I get bored the second time through. BUT I keep paying my subscription fees anyways...hopin I'll get to try out that turbo system or aftermarket tunnel or Ti chassis, or win that free sled in the member giveaway.
