Its a tough call ...I run the 625 Cat ....shes pretty thirsty but can pull the balls off superman , I out pull loaed tridems and super Bs all day long, Where I run is lots of hills ,sweet spot is between 1300 and 1700 RPM...making about 58 lbs of boost on thw twin turbos.
I have the 22918 which is the biggest 18 they make with 46s, pretty tough for hiway truck.
I could probably even get better milage if I was on flatter ground but thats not going to happen..
so I had to look else where for economy ,thats why I started usin SulpurX, an MPG boost in my tank, seem I get a cleaner burn, and my Pyros are cooler to boot, changed my airfilters and did nothing else
went from burning 640 liters from Fort St John to Watson lake down to 580 ....I'll take it anyday..
I don't believe in turning them up because what you get short term will have you sittin down the road somewhere, usualy rocker arms or turbos....or wherever the next weekest link is ,, then again I don't have to turn her up because I already run the big power......and I pull super bs
