Anybody using the PROHERO helmet cam

Thoughts good and bad on this camera,just ordered one with the helmet and bar mounts.

did most of that video with the gopro hero camera.

Decent quality. buy a big memory card and you will go through 2 sets of lithium batteries per ride in the winter.

Pretty good video , VERY hard on batteries . Don't even think of buying cheaper batteries as NOTHING works .

The HD version is out and in stores now as well as the big internet auction site.

I have the hero wide and it works quite well. Download the firmware patch from their site. It does make a difference and it lets you use 4gig cards.
Bring extra batteries.

Easy to use with gloves on but I wish there was a remote record button.

Wonder how the Lithium Ion battery will hold up in the cold?

The Canadian distributor for GoPro cameras says the HD not available til mid Nov.


Thank you for your interest in the new HD Hero from GoPro. Based on production and shipping timelines the HD camera should be available in Canada mid November.
