Anybody using an ATACC setup?

I'm thinking about spending the money for an ATACC setup. Anybody have experience with these that could give an opinion on them good or bad? Do they work as well as they say they do?

For anyone who doesn't know what ATACC is and is curious, it's an automatic temperature & altitude carburetor compensator, sold by Holtzman Engineering.

got one on my ultra and my 03 800 rmk, both have been stellar, both helped my mileage and no issues low or hi elev. cold or hot, i might be one step to rich at times but the elev. and temp i set it for was conservative, to be safe, only time mine gave trouble was when fuel got in my sense lines to the compensator (rollover) drained it out good to go, money well spent

Thanks to all for the info. I think I'll be putting it in. Installation is fairly simple isn't it? I think I'm already jetted fat enough for a 'base', I just have a problem with running rich at higher altitude and/or warmer temperatures.

Did one on a 07 600 RMK and it works perfect. Install is pretty east but you must follow the instructions carefully, hoses must run correctly, base line main jet has to be set correctly, etc.
Mine runs flawless from 2200ft to 8500ft.
Good luck with the install.

I will second this! Proper setup is everything with these. Follow the instructions to the T and you will be a happy camper. If not, they are a major PIA. Great product and truely does work. Set your base jetting the way they tell you to do it. Not necissarly your current jetting.
