Anybody run extros without a fully clipped track?

No need to have a fully clipped tracks. There are ALOT of us around my area running the stock edge tracks with the closed windows opened up by drilling them out with a holesaw. Works great with zero issues.

Thanks for the info
I have a stock Polaris track with all the windows open I was running Hyper fax
but have switched back to standard so it sounds like it wont be a problem

So I guess that running a fully clipped track is a good Idea only if your running
hyper fax
Thanks Again

Did you do a set back or cut the rails to clear the extros?

Both. I set the skid back about 11/4" and took about the same off the front of the rails. Then reshaped the rails to look like they did stock and cut off the back of the rail tip to clear the bolt head from the front cross shaft and reinstalled them. I ran mine for over a year without stabbing a track. This year I put a new camox under mine so for insurance I did break down and install an anti stab kit on both sleds for piece of mind.
