pm me if you want to ride.:face-icon-small-ton

I have been talking to a helicopter pilot the last couple of days as a friend had his sled break down at Eagles Pass.
Well after just getting off the phone with him he advised me that there are lots of natural occuring class 2 slides all over the Pass so if you are going to the area please be carefull.
Check out avi conditions before riding this week.

I am taking it easy this month after a little mishap, landing on my head but going to the Crowsnest at the end of the month for the ASA Jamboree.
I am going to get out every weekend in March though, mostly around Sicamous and Revy.Sure would like to hook up again and ride.:face-icon-small-hap

wow, just read this on avy bulletin. Rene said there was ~3ft new up there.

An avalanche fatality has been reported in the Bewes Creek/Crazy Creek area of the Monashee Mountain Range just north of the Trans Canada Highway west of Revelstoke. At the moment there is only preliminary information regarding this incident. The avalanche involved two snowmobilers. One confirmed fatality.
The avalanche occurred on a 40 degree slope at roughly 1900m on a north aspect. It was released on a weak layer of surface hoar buried 40-50cm. The fracture line was 30m wide and ran for 100m into a terrain trap.
