Anybody on here play with airsoft?

I have 3 boys, all of them with airsoft guns. They are all into it with varying degrees, the oldest boy (20) has a sniper rifle,a shotgun, and a pistol. The middle boy (18) has a shotgun and a pistol. The youngest boy (15) has an arsenal. He has at least 10 of them, electric machine guns, shotguns, and pistols. He has the extra clips for everything, holsters, you name it. Whenever he goes to play with his buddies it usually ends up being him against everybody else, and they are the ones that end up quitting.

These boys drive me nuts with this stuff. They involve me in their battles every once in a while, I swear they feel no pain...and these things HURT like crazy! The 20 year old likes to hide with the sniper rifle, and shoot you in the forehead. He's a good shot too. Nothing like getting one of those right between the eyes.

Anyway, we have the hour long shotgun battle out in the yard last night. By the time we are halfway thru with it, about a half dozen kids on their bikes pulled up and watched us sitting there shooting the hell out of each other. A couple of my boys are on the roof of the house blasting away at each other, and the 15 year old is peppering me with shots left and right.

Total damage? I have about 30 welts on my stomach and back, and took a few shots in the mouth. One of those shots chipped a tooth, so now I gotta go into the dentist. This is bugging the chit out of me, the frickin tooth is jagged and sharp in spots, and I can't help but rub my tongue all over it.

Advice for those who play: Wear a couple layers of cloths, and use a paintball mask or something. It looks like safety glasses are not enough!

LMFAO!! I have an electronic machine gun that I bought from Mills Fleet Farm that I use to blast the wife from now and then... :) But I do agree, them things hurt!!

A couple of nights ago I had a pesky bird in the garage that would not leave no matter what I did. I looked over on the work bench for what ever reason and I saw my airsoft gun.... A light bulb went off in my head, lets load it up to the gills with pellets and open it up on the bird.... That bird had no clue what was about to happen... Next thing you know, there is about 100 pellets flying through the garage bouncing off the walls, hitting the bird, truck, car and me.. But, it did get the bird on the move for a while.. The bird must have gotten pizzed at me, because it started to dive bomb me... On one of its raids, I opened up the airsoft and tagged the bird good. I took him out in mid air. He falls from the rafters and wouldn;t you know it, the only thing in my rafters was a pair of water skis... The bird lands upside down on the skiis and lays there still. My Daughter was screaming that I killed this poor bird, while she was in her rampage, the bird flips over on its feet and begins to fly all over the garage again. I contiued for about another 5 minutes to get this bird out of my garage, then I just accepted defeat and went back into the house.

LMAO!! I wish I could have seen that. Those electric ones are crazy!

I should have the 15YO stop by. He just bagged a grackle (sp) with his airsoft last week, then finished it off by pistol whipping the poor thing. None of my boys will EVER be invited to a PETA workshop.

They are crazy! I am amazed on how fast they shoot! And the distance they travel is nuts also!!

LMFAO!! Pistol whipping it? What in the heck did you teach your kids?? :)

I picked up a pistol thinking it would be a good disciplinary tool for the cats I adopted for my girlfriend. Try to keep them off my kitchen table and counters. ;) With the first three shots I cracked a plastic handle on the Ice Tea jug, shattered the plastic horizontal blinds in the kitchen and then had one shot ricishae (sp?) about six times through the house and back at me! Needles to say I now use it just for $hits & giggles when I'm bored.

fun little toys, play with it time to time. it is a good idea to wear glasses to cover your eyes... and some people prove maybe even a mouth guard...:)

We used to play airsoft in the house... bad idea haha. I'm more of a paintball fan. Alot funner, harder to cheat for the cheaters because the paint stays.

Used to play a bunch. I have a Semi/full auto M-16. Fun to use, but I prefere paintball as paint leaves a mark. I always wore my paintball mask to protect my whole face.

I have been looking at the battery full auto pistol for about 40bux
Do they work well??
I use a BB gun on the duck's at the lake cuz I hate the things crappin in the water I swim in...........but my brother hit one in the head and knocked it out, it's head fell in the water and it did convulsions for 5 minutes and croaked while everyone on the beach watched
Now you can get bio degradable pellet's we're thinkin that might be better
What's the right handgun to buy

Ummmm, isn't there a "season" for taking ducks where your at? Or animal cruelty laws? Just curious. Not getting riled up, just wondering.

edit, sorry for the hijack, not my intention at all.

My grandson and I were at war and he shot me on the top of my wrist. It went into the skin and bled all over the place. I still have a scar.

THEN my other grandson got his dad in the side of the nose (same battle) and split it open.

These things are wicked.

Used to into it a lot...then got out of it these past few years. Used to play in the house till mom cought us..

Yea, the wife is none too happy when she finds them around the house. Apparently the boys take pot shots at the cats when we are not looking.

One of our dogs....we think it's the goofy poodle....likes to eat them too. When we do the poopy scoop in the yard we'll come across turds riddled with them. Apparently they don't digest very well. This poodle farts a lot too......things that make ya go hmmm.....
