Anybody ever used a Speedwerx turbo pipe in conjunction with a Boondocker kit?

Thinking about potentially going with that y-pipe/pipe combination this year if it will fit.

Anyone have any experience with these pipes on the BD kits?

I know some guys that were playing with that pipe and Y-pipe combo, no luck. I've heard of guys recommending the OVS Turbo pipe, but I've never seen one run before.

From what we have seen on the turbo pipe, at 5000 feet and below there are gaines, but the high elevation seems to work best with the stocker in a turbo application.

From my expirence on N/A sleds thier pipes and cans are junk. They cracked and mounts broke.

I would save the money and headache

Oh, and they always stand behind thier product !

The early ones I saw where finicky, last years bd kit on a '11 seemed to work well enough but I think the gains where on the top end, I would still look more at OVS, pretty sure they built there pipe to gain all the way through. But I can't say for sure. If you want gains and haven't done it yet get a kmod and you can go a lot farther.

Local guy in town had a D&D y-pipe for sale off an 09' M, so I bought it from him .... pretty good price on it, I guess if it doesn't work I'll sell it and go back to stock.

What are peoples experiences with the Boondocker Turbo pipe on the '10-'11 M8 kits?

Installed one on a buddies PG m8 Aero kit in the trailer while riding over a long weekend 5000 ft elevation mid was an improvement a little stronger on the bottom end but gains weren't huge but still noticeable

I used some pre production speedwerx turbo pipe was great. Then got some production ones and not happy. If you can get a y pipe and a 2010-11 pipe they work good.

Yeah the one my buddy got was a pre production (he's been buddies with Steve and Jeremy since the early 90's) I didn't personally know that they changed the design on the production run?
